Successful applicants will develop commercial awareness and hands-on experience in retail merchandising, order management, and customer engagement, helping drive product visibility and sales growth.
The role reports directly to the Account Developer within the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
In-Store Merchandising & Execution
- Execute daily call schedules across assigned retail outlets
- Implement visual merchandising standards in line with Coca-Cola brand guidelines
- Ensure product availability, visibility, and quality at all times
- Perform stock rotation and maintain in-store displays
- Complete merchandising compliance using tools such as iRED surveys
Sales Support & Customer Service
- Assist customers with placing orders via the MyCCBA platform
- Support promotional campaigns to increase brand awareness and sales
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve daily and monthly targets
- Provide relief support as required by management
Stakeholder Interaction
- Work closely with Sales Team Members to share insights and improve execution
- Receive training, coaching, and performance feedback from the Account Developer
- Engage with consumers to understand buying behaviour and preferences
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Coca-Cola Learnership Programme 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics or Maths Literacy (minimum 40%)
- English and one additional language (minimum 40%)
- Must be a South African citizen
- Aged between 18 and 35 years
- Currently unemployed
- Not enrolled in any other learnership or full-time studies
- Must not have completed the same qualification previously
- Clear criminal and credit record
- Willing to undergo background checks (ID, qualifications, criminal record)
- Available to work 6 days per week
- Must meet Employment Equity requirements
Advantageous:
- Valid driver’s licence
- Post-matric qualification in Sales and Marketing
Learnership Details
- Duration: 12 months
