About the Momentum Health Learnership
Momentum Health is offering an exciting Contact Centre Learnership Programme for 2026, designed to equip unemployed South African youth with practical workplace experience and industry-recognised skills within the medical scheme and healthcare administration sector.
The learnership will run for 12 months, commencing on 01 May 2026 and concluding on 30 April 2027. Successful candidates will receive a combination of theoretical classroom training and practical on-the-job experience at Momentum Metropolitan.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Learners selected for the Momentum Health Contact Centre Learnership will be required to:
- Attend all classroom-based training sessions and participate in practical workplace learning
- Perform duties in line with the requirements of the learnership and Momentum Metropolitan standards
- Gain a thorough understanding of company products, policies, systems, and procedures
- Compile and submit a Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) to the relevant Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA)
- Maintain and complete logbooks for work-based learning
- Successfully complete all formative and summative assessments
- Demonstrate proficiency in using company systems and understanding operational processes
- Conduct themselves professionally and uphold the Momentum Group values
- Successfully pass the EISA examination
Minimum Requirements
To be eligible for the Momentum Health Learnership 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Have completed Grade 12 (Matric)
- Achieved at least 40% in Mathematics or 60% in Mathematical Literacy
- Passed English and one other South African language with a minimum of 50%
- Be computer literate (advantageous)
- Be unemployed and able to commit to a 12-month learnership
- Be a South African citizen aged between 18 and 30 years
- Be available for the full duration of the programme
- Be able to commute to the workplace independently
- Not be registered for any part-time or full-time tertiary studies during the learnership
- Not have previously completed the same learnership programme
