The South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA), in partnership with the Health and Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority (HWSETA), is proud to announce the SAHPRA Learnership Programme for 2025. This exciting opportunity is aimed at unemployed youth who are passionate about pursuing a career in business administration within the health sector.
About the SAHPRA Learnerships Programme 2025
The SAHPRA learnership is a 12-month structured programme designed to empower young South Africans with the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to excel in the business administration field. The programme leads to a National Qualification Framework (NQF) Level 4 qualification in Business Administration – a versatile credential that opens doors in a wide range of administrative and management careers.
Participants will undergo a combination of:
- Theoretical classroom training facilitated by an accredited training provider, fully funded by SAHPRA and HWSETA.
- Practical, hands-on work experience in a real-world business environment at SAHPRA’s offices in Pretoria.
Throughout the duration of the learnership, learners will also receive a monthly stipend to help cover living expenses.
Minimum Requirements to Apply for the SAHPRA Learnership 2025
To be considered for this valuable opportunity, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Must have a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate OR an N4/N5/N6 certificate.
- Must be a South African citizen with a valid South African ID document.
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years.
- Must be currently unemployed and not enrolled in any other learnership or internship programme.
- Must have a clear credit record and no criminal history.
- Must reside in Pretoria or be willing and able to travel to Pretoria daily for the duration of the programme.
