Through this programme, you’ll develop hands-on sales experience and build a strong foundation for a career in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry.

About the Coca-Cola Learnerships 2025

The Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) Learnership Programme offers work-based learning combined with structured training to help you:

  • Understand the sales process
  • Improve your customer service and merchandising skills
  • Work closely with the sales and account development teams
  • Engage directly with customers and consumers
  • Learn how to drive volume, implement visual merchandising, and manage stock rotation

Key Responsibilities

As a Coca-Cola Learnership participant, you’ll report to an Account Developer and be responsible for:

  • In-Store Execution & Merchandising
  • Execute daily visit schedules to bronze and tin retail outlets
  • Implement merchandising standards based on Coca-Cola brand guidelines
  • Ensure product availability, stock rotation, and visibility
  • Complete the iRED survey and support RED scorecard standards
  • Assist with product promotions and enhance brand visibility in-store

Customer Service & Sales Support

  • Educate customers on using the MyCCBA online order platform
  • Provide frontline support and resolve customer queries
  • Offer relief support across designated areas as required by your manager

Minimum Requirements 

To apply for the Coca-Cola Learnership 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Age: 18 to 35 years old
  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate with:
    • Mathematics or Math Literacy (minimum 40%)
    • English and a second language (minimum 40%)
  • Unemployed at the time of application
  • Not currently studying full-time or participating in another learnership
  • No previous completion of the same qualification or programme
  • Must be available to work 6 days a week
  • Clean criminal and credit record
  • Willing to undergo ID, qualification, and criminal checks

Additional Advantageous Criteria:

  • A post-matric qualification in Sales, Marketing, or related field
  • A valid driver’s license (preferred but not required)

Learnership Qualification Details

This learnership covers 120 credits and runs for 12 months. During the programme, learners will receive theoretical instruction combined with on-the-job experience that enhances employability and builds long-term career prospects.
