Kickstart Your Career with a Fully Funded 12-Month Learnership or Skills Programme
Are you currently unemployed and looking to gain valuable skills and qualifications in 2025? The Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF), through its Labour Activation Programme (LAP) in partnership with We Invest Africa (Pty) Ltd, is offering exciting learnerships and skills programmes to help you enter the workforce or start your own business.
We’re looking for 30 unemployed individuals per programme to join this 12-month fully funded opportunity.
Available UIF Learnership Programmes 2025
Gain an accredited National Certificate while receiving workplace experience and a monthly stipend. The following learnerships are open for application:
- National Certificate: Mixed Farming Systems – NQF Level 2
- National Certificate: Plant Production – NQF Level 3
- National Certificate: Landscaping – NQF Level 2
- National Certificate: Animal Production – NQF Level 2
- National Certificate: Construction Roadworks – NQF Level 3
- National Certificate: Construction Health and Safety – NQF Level 3
- National Certificate: Community House Building – NQF Level 2
- National Certificate: Water and Wastewater Process Control – NQF Level 3

Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the UIF Learnership or Skills Programmes, you must:
- Be currently unemployed
- Be a South African citizen with a valid ID copy
- Be aged between 18 and 55 years
- Have completed Grade 10 or higher
- Not currently enrolled in any other learnership or training programme
- Be interested in sectors such as construction, agriculture, or business
