About the Sanlam Learnerships Programme 2025
This 12-month learnership opportunity offers unemployed youth a chance to gain practical work experience, professional development, and an NQF Level 4 Certificate in Wealth Management – all while earning a monthly allowance.

Upon successful completion of the programme, high-performing learners may be considered for permanent junior-level roles within Sanlam, as part of a structured development journey.

Key Responsibilities
As a Sanlam learnership participant, you’ll be expected to:
- Gain a deep understanding of Sanlam’s products, services, and operational systems
- Participate in classroom-based learning sessions
- Complete practical, workplace-based training
- Build and submit a Portfolio of Evidence to InSeta
- Maintain accurate logbooks for all workplace activities
- Successfully pass all formative and summative assessments
- Fulfill day-to-day duties as outlined by your manager
Who Can Apply for the Sanlam Learnerships Programme 2025?
To qualify for the Sanlam Learnership 2025, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- South African citizen aged between 18–35
- Unemployed and not currently studying or employed
- No tertiary qualification
- Passed Grade 12 with at least 50% in English and Maths / Maths Literacy / Accounting
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Able to commit to the full 12-month programme
- Clear criminal and credit record
- Access to reliable transport
