AVBOB & INSETA Learnerships 2026 | Apply for the Long-Term Insurance NQF Level 4 Programme
Applications are now open for the AVBOB and INSETA Learnership Programme 2026!. AVBOB, in partnership with the Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority (INSETA), invites unemployed South African youth to apply for the Long-Term Insurance Learnership Programme.
This 12-month learnership provides a perfect opportunity to gain both theoretical training and practical workplace experience within the insurance industry. Successful learners will achieve an NQF Level 4 qualification worth 140 credits, opening doors to a professional career in insurance and financial services.
About the AVBOB Learnership
The AVBOB Long-Term Insurance Learnership is a structured work-based learning programme designed to combine classroom education (through an accredited training provider) with on-the-job experience.
If you are passionate about building a career in the insurance sector, this learnership is your chance to gain valuable skills, earn a qualification, and receive a monthly stipend during your training.
Requirements
To qualify for the AVBOB & INSETA Learnership 2026, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Be willing to work in Tembisa or Bronkhorstspruit
- Hold a valid Matric certificate with English and Mathematics / Mathematical Literacy / Accounting
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Have not participated in a previous learnership
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, Email, and Internet) is advantageous
- Be able to work independently and demonstrate initiative
- Must be a South African citizen
