The OUTsurance Learnership Programme 2026 is a structured, work-based learning opportunity designed to empower unemployed South African youth with practical workplace experience. This learnership provides participants with hands-on exposure in a professional call centre environment, equipping them with valuable skills to build a successful career in the Financial and Insurance industry.

Successful candidates will enter into a 12-month fixed-term learnership contract with OUTsurance and receive a monthly stipend of R12 000. This programme is ideal for motivated individuals who are passionate about customer service, call centre operations, and professional development.

One day per week will be dedicated to full qualification training, ensuring learners gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

Working Hours & Shifts

Learners will work on a rotational, pre-determined roster that includes:

  • Friday to Monday: 9-hour shifts
  • Saturday: 8-hour shifts
  • Sunday: 5-hour shift
  • Days Off: Two weekdays off per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday)

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the OUTsurance Learnership Programme 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate
  • Computer literate (MS Office)
  • South African citizen
  • Aged between 18 and 35 years
  • Unemployed for the past 6 months
  • No prior learnership completed through INSETA
  • No previous work experience required
