What is the DVT Learnership Programme?

The DVT Learnerships 2025 is a fully accredited, 24-month structured training programme designed to blend academic learning with practical work experience.

Registered with the MICT SETA (Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority), this learnership is specifically created to equip young South Africans with the skills, knowledge, and workplace readiness needed to thrive in the IT and Finance industries.

Participants will earn NQF Level 5 and progress to an NQF Level 6 (Diploma) qualification during the course of the programme, setting them up for a sustainable and rewarding career.

Learnership Specialisations Offered in 2025

DVT is currently offering two specialised learnership tracks:

IT Systems Development Learnership: Ideal for those who are passionate about software development, coding, and technology innovation. You’ll work with modern tools and development frameworks under the mentorship of experienced professionals, learning how to build real-world applications and solutions.
